yep we lost a little bit last night! 4-15. geez..oh well it's for the kids to get out and play and have fun right!?!? good job mikey. he stopped several balls @ the catcher's mound. he pitched and struck 1 person out. we will do better next time.

B is for....

bedtime,baby, blanket bottle and soft baseball bat!!!!! these are the items required for MR Petey is sleep last night. yep you go it mommy baby bottle blanket and baseball bat.. the bat is the soft kind. all of us in the room we went! we got us another baseball player in the making!!!! ball in pete's hand, you gotta WATCH out for knees and other body parts b/c he will swing!

i left out my sweet lil pete went to the doctors. he's 27LBS and 34" long! my goodness. now i know where i get these nice lil things in my arms called MUSCLES!!!!!!!!

eventful weekend HE SCORED A HOMERUN

well Pete got his first hair cut! too cute. pics to come~~he did so good. didn't cry or nothing. just let the lady cut his hair. MIKEY IS HITTING HARDER THAN EVER! HE GOT 3 POINTS ON THAT SCOREBOARD! PROUD MOMMY HERE THAT'S FOR SURE! pete got into his first jump blow up thing and loved it! tristan is doing awesome. getting bigger by the minute!!!

my heart is finally behind that chain link fence again~~~ready to "PLAY BALL." pete says baseball! mikey is doing great as long as he's focused. coach had him @ third base last nite. he did perdy well! go mikey...fielding needs to get a little better. go REEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDD SOXS!

the hurricane weekend and the events.

we went to Lake Brownwood for a family reunion. not to evacuate. the time there was priceless. Pete and i spent alot of quality time with the boys. pete went on his first hike, mikey enjoyed it also. he has a cousin who he doesn't see very often. we went into this antique store, bought a set of horns a camel back trunk. Pete discovered a witchcraft book and gave it to the owner. we played cards and just really took in the old military base this statepark had to offer.

suffering mothers

my heart is pouring out to these delicate mothers who are facing the unknowns with their babies alive inutero or on the heavenly side of this world. these mothers are doing a terrific job. i will be going to the side of bed on my knees praying for these mothers tonight my heart just hurts for them. i will be praying for strength these mommies who are just having a rough time. i will pray that god gives them peace in their heart of hearts that they can get through the toughest days they are facing. i heart just is heavy today!

3200 square feet

Christ has blessed us with this! a 2 story house with 4 bedrooms. that's right 1 for mommy and daddy, 1 for Pete 1 for Tristan and 1 for Mikey. we have 2 1/2 baths 2 car garage. god is so good and i couldn't be happier. thank you jesus for allowing my family to have a grand thing as this home. a home where we can have our own space. my boys will no longer have to compete for some sleep or just being just boys! God you are so good and i am gracious. i am thankful for all the stairs i will be climbing! i am thankful for the biggest kitchen that i can cook my family meals, the huge backyard that we can mow. i can do all these things b/c you have given me this HUGE BLESSING. i owe it all to you father. thank you i love you jesus. AMEN!!

to my maw-maw

maw maw you are so special to me. i appreciate all that you do for us. you have raised me since i was 13YO. i just wanted to write it out and tell her how much love her. she has drank many cups of coffee with me, watching the birds go by, squirrels playing in the back yard, she has always answered my calls for help as well as great news. she always stands up for me, she very concerned. she's MY HERO AND MY ROCK! I LOVE YOU MAW-MAW!!!

the drive home 7/18/2008

today was mikey's last day @ VBX @ Second Baptist. i had picked my son up from his granny's house. on the way home we were discussing today's lecure from his new pastor. he graduated up to the 5-6 graders. he says in the calming yet so meaningful voice, mom pastor ______ says that when you are suffering and hurting, God is with you. WOW that coming from my 10YO precious son. i was so proud. my heart stung with greay joy hearing this from the very breath of my mikey. i am just still beside myself and i feel engulfed with peace right now. i feel just overwhelmed with calmness. my son @ 10YO can be a witness to this almighty Creator!!! thank you Jesus for allowing those words to speak to me tonight. for you have given me 3 precious gems called children. for that i am forever in eternity greatful. i am just rambling.

July 2nd

today was mikey's birthday! we had a nice party for him! grandpa bobby came in and bought some stuff! mel bryan and the kids came over. PawPaw came over as well. tonight, my son asked me to lay next to him for a coupla of minutes! i snuggled next to him and he actually put his arm around me and said i love you mom and thanks for giving me a birthday party! mikey i am so proud of you and love you with everything that i have!
