A SURPRISE THAT SURPASSES ALL...

at 8PM on friday the 9th, i am looking at hubby's cell phone. there's a pic of a brown horse~~belated Christmas gift. his name is Brownie. i will be posting pics very soon. he's a line back dun quarter horse~truely amazing horse. the look in eyes just sparkles letting me know that there's some riding to do. this horse is well probably 2YO. not for sure at this point. Brownie is saddle broken..thank you jesus! i can't not wait to put saddle him and see what he's got. i know he's got some fire under those hooves! i know..too much of a horse for me is what i am thinking. maybe not!! he's got the sweet feed hay 2 acres and 3 stalls all by himself. next to his pasture...he's got horse friends. all 5. some studs and mares!! here's to you brownie! can't wait to see what your made of my studd muffin!

a mom, boy pandhandler=joy

as i driving back to work in my 10YO son in tow, i had seen a lady with a sign. i didn't have time to read it. i had some extra cash and my son had a extra taco from taco bell..as i pulled out 2 bucks to give this lady, my son says "o mom, give her my taco" so we gave her everything. as i driving i looked at Mikey, he looked at me and we both smiled. my eyes burned as the tears started coming. i looked back at Mikey with no words as i trying not to have him see the tears. "mom i am so proud of myself" he says. i am so proud of him. he brings such joy happiness in my life. what a wonderful way to start the new year!

Christmas spirit

we have been getting into the Christmas spirit. we bought lights for the house to put up this weekend. we will also be getting the tree and setting it up! i have been enjoying seeing the Christmas spirit through the eyes of my children. Pete is 20MO now. the christmas spirit is running rampid through his eyes, with all the lights outside with the Christmas shows airing on TV, the saying of Santa. he says Snta~all the wishlists that are plastered to my fridge. it's so awesome to experience this. it's awesome that we are going to celebrate Jesus' birthday soon. with this being said: i want to you whoever reads this ol' blog to sit back and think about these delicate families that have lost love ones. i want you to pray for these families who have faced death of a child, husband granparent, mom, dad, sister or brother. we all need to face the earth and pray for these families. they are listed on my sidebar. pray for god to reveal himself in these families lives. pray for comfort in this holiday season when they can't see the Christmas spirit through the eyes of their precious babies because they aren't here. they are in the arms of our heavenly father. pray for strength and comfort in their heart of hearts. so remember to get down and pray tonight and continue praying for them! happy holidays..from my heart to you and yours...

into the christmas spirit and baseball

last night i was taking care of the kids inside...i glanced outside to see something...my husband hung a wreath on the front door and put out some lights that are on the steaks for the yard! how thoughtful..he turns and says honey i am in the Christmas spirit. i am getting into the christmas spirit. i am getting ready to celebrate Christ's birthday and give him all the glory and praise. i love you Jesus! you have blessed my family beyond measure and for that i will be forever grateful. however my mommy heart is just so sad! baseball is over until the spring!! my husband did promise to take me back to those pony fields so we can watch the big boys play and mikey can learn more about the game!!!! i love you mikey. i am so proud of you. that's just to put it lightly!!!

2 RBI's and 1 homerun!

can you believe this? out of my 10YO son! no my feet were touching the ground. my son mikey, got a 1 homerun, and 2 RBI's on the same play! WE WON!! 13-15~~GO RED SOCKS you guys rock!

we tied! i have the best catcher ever! he hustled after those balls and really covered home plate last night. mikey did great with blocking the balls!! i am so proud of you mikey. this season you got your heart into this baseball team 110%. you rock! i can't wait to see you play on the bigger league next season...hopefully we can go SELECT!!!

not too much

going on here in my neck of the woods. still going games. we have double elemination tourneys' soon! pete is still a MLB in the making. he's now able to hit the ball with a solid baseball bat. tristan is doing ok and mikey doing great in school...

o what would this be like a~ 10YO love story

my son 10YO found a elemantary love! this girl went to mikey's school. she had to move away. for the longest time my son thought that place was New York. i mean this little doll has wormed her way in my son's heart. every night, mikey would say, mom i wish i could see____ again. o how i miss her mom. i just want to see her again. tuesday night, ball field, we are there to see mikey's cousin play a good ol' baseball game! we were leaving and mikey found a lil girl who looked liked ____. he walks away, comes back MOM IT'S ____!!! MOM ITS' HER!! just astounded! he was so beside himself, heart fluttering i am sure. so i went to meet this girl and and her mom. as we were making it to the car, i said hey go give her your number and you can talk to her on the phone, although they did play @ recess together. anywho, we were pulling into wal-mart. he says "mom if she calls this is what i would say my son" you know what" __ "what" My son"i love you" oh how those words pierced my heart. my eyes were stinging b/c i was holding back those itty bitty tears. my thoughts goes as follows: i know my son loves me i know that i have a special place in his little heart. i know that 1 DAY MY SON WILL MARRY, AND THAT TIE between mother and son will never be broken. the thought of mikey telling her i love just I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN IT! it just kinda hard b/c he said i love you to another female. i just want to his everything in my mommy heart i guess that's what i am trying to put down in feeling right now.

HOME PLATE!!

i did forget to mention that Mikey struck out on the first time @ bat...BUT he did get to slide in on that home plate TWICE! also he got some great hits last game! I HAVE A MLB IN THE MAKING. he's 19MO. he wakes up with bball in mind, eats with bball in mind, and sleeps with bball in mind. this little wonderer will stand with his lil fingers wrapped around the chain link fence, watching EVERY single play. he will swing a bat like no other. he has a stance already. he scrunches down and puts the ball on shoulder and another homerun is hit!!!!!

yikes! can we say practice!!! we had a wonderful weekend. nothing much going on. We finally have a princess in the house! yep 5 week old SCHNOODLE! it's a schnauzer and poodle mix! cute cute cute! she's my baby...i will post pics later! pete is now 19 MO! and someone i know is preggers post more on that later also!

on saturday we..

went to mikey's game! 0-3 Bummer! But it was a great game. we also went to the katy rice harvest festival. pete got to ride his first merry-go-round ride! we liked it @ first but then got a little scared @ the end. he had a blast. pics to come with his first bite of cotton candy!!!!!!!

yep we lost a little bit last night! 4-15. geez..oh well it's for the kids to get out and play and have fun right!?!? good job mikey. he stopped several balls @ the catcher's mound. he pitched and struck 1 person out. we will do better next time.

B is for....

bedtime,baby, blanket bottle and soft baseball bat!!!!! these are the items required for MR Petey is sleep last night. yep you go it mommy baby bottle blanket and baseball bat.. the bat is the soft kind. all of us in the room we went! we got us another baseball player in the making!!!! ball in pete's hand, you gotta WATCH out for knees and other body parts b/c he will swing!

i left out my sweet lil pete went to the doctors. he's 27LBS and 34" long! my goodness. now i know where i get these nice lil things in my arms called MUSCLES!!!!!!!!

eventful weekend HE SCORED A HOMERUN

well Pete got his first hair cut! too cute. pics to come~~he did so good. didn't cry or nothing. just let the lady cut his hair. MIKEY IS HITTING HARDER THAN EVER! HE GOT 3 POINTS ON THAT SCOREBOARD! PROUD MOMMY HERE THAT'S FOR SURE! pete got into his first jump blow up thing and loved it! tristan is doing awesome. getting bigger by the minute!!!
